Get up to a hearty breakfast and if you like walking, leave your car at the farm. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is only fifteen minutes walk from the farm.Get on the train at Levisham Station. A day's ticket will allow you to spend the full day on the train - getting off at different points of the journey to explore the beautiful countryside.
Take your car along the fantastic moors route to Whitby or Robin Hoods Bay, or visit the ever popular seaside towns of Bridlington and Scarborough, the city of York or the Ancestral Castle Howard and gardens.
Take a trip to Helmsley, Hutton-le-Hole and journey through many other quaint villages on your way back to the farm for a relaxing cup of tea and a piece of farmhouse baking. In the eveningtake a stoll down to the village pub which is only five minutes walk away, or go to other nearby villages for your highly recommended evening meal.
